“You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the Service. You must not defame, stalk, bully, abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate people or entities and you must not post private or confidential information via the Service.”
Instagram has a number of ways for you to report unwanted content.
- Reporting users who spread revenge pornography: If a user is spreading or threatening to spread your private photos or videos without your approval, you can file a report here.
- Reporting individual posts for abuse: You can follow the procedure here to flag individual posts as harassing or abusing.
To report something inappropriate on an Instagram account, go to the account’s profile, click next to their username and select Report User.
To report an individual post, click below the post and then click Report Inappropriate and follow the on-screen instructions.
